How do I add, remove, and disable Chrome extensions?

Wavebox supports the same extension framework as other popular browsers, meaning you can install any extension or theme from the Chrome Web Store in Wavebox.

Add an Extension

  1. Open a tab and open the Chrome Web Store (https://chromewebstore.google.com/)
  2. Find an extension you want to install
  3. Click Add to Wavebox to install

Remove and Disable Extensions

  1. In the top-right of any window, click on the puzzle icon to open the extension menu
  2. Click on Manage Extensions to open the extensions page
  3. To remove an extension, click the remove button
  4. To disable an extension, turn the toggle off

Disable all Extensions

(e.g. Support has asked you to do this as part of troubleshooting)

  1. In the top-right of any window, click on the puzzle icon to open the extension menu
  2. Click on Manage Extensions to open the extensions page
  3. Turn on the Developer mode toggle in the top-right
  4. Click the Disable all button
