This patch release fixes the titlebar alignment that was broken on 10.0.406. Here's what else is new in this release...

🆕 New!

• We've been busy changing the underlying tech behind Cookie Profiles to bring a shiny new version 2. This has far improved stability and compatability with lots of apps and extensions. Here's what's new and fixed from this change
  • Sites that request HTTP basic auth now work outside the default cookie profile
  • Vastly improved service worker sync for sites that support it
  • The ability to lock an extension to a single cookie profile
  • Better cookie profile support for extensions that have struggled with it
  • Fixes for mixmax outside of the default cookie profile
• Add the ability to re-order pinned items
• Add tab close button to quick switch
• Add favicons to quick switch

• Update to Chromium 87.0.4280.141. This Chromium update includes a number of security fixes
• Fix specific instance where the text in sidebar would force the items to overflow (sidebar in list view mode, apps visible sidebar, sidebar collapse enable & long title)
• Update deb packaging and fix sandboxing permission for some distributions
• Add option to show active app, when a tab is active (To turn this on, the option is under Settings > Advanced)
• Dark mode fix in Wavebox Mini
• Fix issue where unread badges were not updated until the guest page actually changed the unread badge
• Add keyboard shortcut to quit Wavebox completely (this can be configured under Settings, Keyboard Shortcuts)

This patch version fixes a few crashes reported in the previous version

• There's an instance where a tab could crash when it has a service worker and tries to navigate. This was reported to us when using Slack (thanks!), but the issue will affect other sites. Fix the root cause of this so that it doesn't crash anymore 😊

• Auto select inbox type when adding Gmail apps

• Add support for a broader range of 3rd party 2-factor devices. This includes the much-requested support for Touch ID on Apple computers with a fingerprint scanner
• When opening new tabs in the main window, they would always open at the end of the strip. Update this to match the normal tab behaviour of opening at the end of the logical group
• Fix help links opening blank tabs
• Fix dashboard links opening blank tabs
• On a handful of websites, when not using the primary Cookie Profile, they could get a bit confused, pushing you into the default profile. Stop doing this and instead stay in the same Cookie Profile

• Fix an issue whereby badges would not be updated when Wavebox is set to restore tabs and apps on startup

Version 10.0.378

Thanks to everyone that reported issues with the previous stable (10.0.376). This patch release contains some fixes for those problems

• Sometimes you could cancel removing a tab through a prompt. Doing this could sometimes get Wavebox a bit confused, so help with that confusion
• Fix collapsed sidebar sections always showing an unread indicator
• Fix cookie profiles getting muddled when setting Wavebox to restore sessions on restart
• Fix an issue where we'd stop tracking tabs properly. This potentially has all sorts of side effects, but manifested itself by not respecting opening the window in the default browser.
• Wavebox could become laggy when opening lots of new tabs, in actual fact it was just waiting for no reason. Make it jump the queue
• There was a noticable delay when using right-click, open link in new tab. Fix this.

🐛 Fixes

• You could make the main window hang if you downloaded a file from an external application in Wavebox. Handle this case properly
• Popovers sometimes got a bit too keen and wouldn't close, decrease their eagerness by 50% and stop that
• Fix "Open current page in new window" not working correctly
• Fix "Move tab to new window" not working correctly
