There are 3 layouts for the webdock.  All new installs start with the Spaces view.

🚀 Spaces Layout

Spaces are shown as circle icons in the top left-hand corner. During the Wavebox install process, you will set up 3 spaces. They represent your digital worlds, such as home, work, college, second business, and separate clients.

  • Spaces layout only shows groups/apps for the selected Space.
  • Cookies are isolated between Spaces so you can stay signed in to multiple accounts, e.g., Work Gmail in the 'work' Space, and your personal Gmail in the 'home' Space.
  • You can drag the Spaces webdock narrower to make the icons smaller.
  • If you have lots of Spaces, try right-clicking on any icon and choosing 'Stack spaces side-by-side' to free up room in the webdock for more groups.
  • Right-click on a Spaces icon to delete, rename, customize the color and icon, and access Space settings.
  • To adjust how your Spaces icons look when selected and sleeping, go to Settings > General > Webdock > Spaces. There, you can adjust the color, opacity, tooltips, and the space button.
  • You can also drag a group/app icon to move it to a different Space.

✅ List Layout

The List layout displays all groups from all Spaces in one list.

  • Hover over the Settings cog at the bottom left, and click on 'Webdock Layout > List.'
  • Before switching, a friendly prompt will remind you that if you switch from Spaces to List and then start mixing up your groups and apps from different spaces, you may need to reorganize things when switching back to List.
  • Try dragging the List layout narrower/wider to resize the icon sizes and to show the group/app titles.
  • If you are a Virtual Assistant or Account Manager, List Layout may be easier for you, as it allows you to see and work across all client groups at the same time.

🗂️ Explorer Layout

This fully expanded view displays all your groups, apps, tabs, and tab folders in one tree-style view. It also removes the top toolbar and tabstrip to give more space in the main window (this means tabs are only visible in the webdock).

  • Hover over the Settings cog at the bottom left, and click on 'Webdock Layout > Explorer.'
  • To collapse or expand a group/app/tab folder, hover over the title and click on the down arrow.
  • Add a tab: If the app does not have tabs, hover over the app title to reveal a + icon, and click on it to add the first tab.
  • Add an app: You can also use the right-click menu on any app/tab title to add more apps and tabs.

⎯ Dividers

You can use collapsable dividers in all layouts to create more space in the webdock. Group/app icons will collapse into the divider above them. Search for Dividers in the Knowledge Space to learn more about them:  https://wavebox.io/kb/how-do-i-add-dividers-to-the-sidebar/
