When you stop using an app or tab in the main Wavebox window you can set it to go to sleep automatically. This is to stop processing power from being used unnecessarily on your machine.

By default, an app icon or tab will turn grey when it's sleeping. When you return to a sleeping app/tab, it will load back in and return to normal (colored).

You can turn the sleep indicator ON or OFF in Settings.  Here's how:

  • Hover over the Settings cog (bottom-left) and click on Settings. Make sure the blue General Tab is selected
  • Under Appearance > Groups & apps look for the option to Show sleeping app icons in grey and toggle ON to keep them grey—the toggle will turn blue—or toggle OFF to always be in color.
